Some people hike for the views or the feels, anyone who knows Amy knows she hikes for the rocks. I love her passion for geology. My goal each summer is to create these moments where Amy zones out in amazement and can’t stop staring and explaining geology with a big grin on her face. Inevitably I can’t stop smiling because I can’t believe how much someone can be into these rocks.

I think it helps to see the curriculum is actually real and you can go see the phenomena she discusses and even touch it.
