Whitewater State Park, MN

At this point y we are just trying to get home without having to drive too much each day so that we still have time to enjoy each stop at least a little.

Each state seems to have at least one appropriately named “Castle Rock” and so we decide to hike up and see Minnesota’s version. This is one of the few areas in the entire state that wasn’t shaped by the glaciers and so the scenery is quite interesting and out of place. The rock here has fun little holes and nooks that make for a unique hike right from our campsite. The river by our site had some interesting bluffs and Amy enjoyed one last day filled with geology.
